Whatsapp's shutting down other platforms leaving Android & iOS as majors!

Whatsapp Shutting down other platforms
Some years back a new social networking app was built to connect people our the world and ease communication amongst families that stays far away from each other, and was called the "WhatsApp Messenger" by Jan Koum & Brian Acton it's developers and previous owners, and we all know that so far the reason for which it was created has been fulfilled. We will also agree that it has virtually taken over other messaging platforms similar to it like 2go, default SMS, BBM and Badoo. Since it's creation, it's been globally accepted everywhere and so it has been built to support various devices and operating systems like Android, iOS, Windows, Blackberry OS 7 & OS 10, Nokia Series 60 and 40 devices. Though When they started back in 2009, it was mostly used on Nokia and Blackberry devices because the brands (Nokia & Blackberry) where kinda predominant unlike the Apple, Windows and Android devices back then. Things have changed a lot now as people now advances to making and building a world with people that loves each other and are advancing to new devices with screen touch capabilities.

They've been rumours going around that about 70% of devices under the platforms mentioned above wouldn't be able to use WhatsApp Messenger from 31 December 2016 or Approximately 2017 and listed below are the devices that will be excluded from using the app in 2017.
⊙ BlackBerry devices (OS 7 & 10): Yeah right, Blackberry 10 devices like Z10, Q5, Q10, Q20 & Others wont be having Whatsapp from 2017. Though BlackBerry 10 devices supports some Android applications so maybe you guys might still have a solution which in my suggestion will be to install the Android WhatsApp Messenger updates from 2017.
⊙ Nokia S40: Yeah the Nokia C3, 302, 308, 305 and its direct affiliates will be afeted too, so please if you a whatsapp lover then please ignore this devices.

⊙ Nokia Symbian S60: These guys where included too. So your C5, C6, N8 or PureView wouldn't make any sense now unless you have some hidden plans.

⊙ Android 2.1 and Android 2.2: Yeah this too, Though the good thing about Android is that othere develours always loops for a way to make Android usees happy so your guY's might have an unofficial WhatsApp client or maybe y'all have to upgrade even if it's a Custom Rom if your want to be a partic pant in what sapphire future.

⊙ The Windows Phone 7.1: I'm kinda glad about this one cos i hate Windows Mobile devices, They are always the least when it comes to user customizations let alone apps. Good for others its just against OS 7.1 users.

⊙ The iPhone 3GS/iOS 6: Apple iPhone IOS. What do you expect from Android's natural rival? It only affects iOS 6! I like iPhones though they are always cool in their unique way.
And this is why this changes where made: While these mobile devices have been an important part of our past, they don't offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future and trust me this was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give our users the best chatting experience.
Meanwhile y'all can drop your complains or views on what you think is best.
